VL-1000 Profile MIA
@jlightguy wrote:
After upgrading to 3.52.718 on an M6, I went to patch a VL-1000 only to find the title for the fixture is in the library, but all parameter information (or profile information, for that matter) is gone. I will download the latest library version to try to correct but was wondering if anyone else has seen this?
Thanks!

Edit cue selects wrong cue
@Jeroen wrote:
Hi,
when I press "Edit" and then select a cue, the wrong cue gets selected. I click on CL31 for example, but then cuelist CL34 gets loaded to edit....? Strange.
Thanks for any help!

M2Go with Arkaos?
@colepierce wrote:
I'm doing an install with some Chauvet Epix Strips, an M2Go and a Dell All-In-One PC running Arkaos Media Master Express and having some issues getting the console and computer to talk to each other.
If I have the IP of the Dell set to 192.x.x.x, I can get the Epix Strips to turn on with the computer, but as soon as I turn it to 10.x.x.x (trying to match the M2Go), they don't work at all. I want to be able to just have on/off control for a couple layers from the console, but have the actual media be edited ahead of time on the Dell.
Any thoughts or places to point me in the right direction? Thanks!

M-PC Dual Screen
@JamesSp wrote:
I have been trying to figure out the best way to save a view to the docked additional window on a second monitor and so far the only way I have been able to get the view to stay when selecting any other views is to re-record each of the other views with the new docked window having what I would like displayed on it, so am I missing something simple since this feels rather long winded?

M2Go OS install
@Austin.Taylor wrote:
For some reason M2Go won't boot from the flash drive in the back port to start the OS install. It see's that there is a drive inserted and says to press any key to boot from drive, but it then doesn't see the ISO. I created the ISO using Rufus like the guid says, and It is named M2GO_3.52.718.
Wondering if I'm missing something here.

Programming macro cuelist sorta
@Wade_Allan_Ratliff wrote:
Hey, so this might not even be possible, and if it is I haven't figured it out yet:
So I tour around with a package and a fully programmed show that includes house fixtures. Pretty much every day I find myself tweaking the same 10 intensity palettes, 14 position palettes, and 10 color palettes.
Super easy to do on my own standing at the board no problem. But the thing is I have to do the same thing every day. So the question is is there a way to build a stack to where I press a button, load the palette and select the fixtures I want to edit, simply make my changes and hit a single button and it records and brings me into the next edit?
My bet is there is not cause I haven't found it yet.
Thanks

Question for the 360 viewing rendering options
@musicmatters wrote:
I made this rendering:
Then I did the same exact thing but I chose the 360 render option and I got this:
The 360 render didn't come out clear, and it seems much further zoomed out then the original intended camera angles were. Do the intended camera perspectives needs to be different when doing 360?
Also, what is the intended post processing to post on things like YouTube and Facebook. I converted it to a .mov file via VLC and then used the YouTube 306 data converter to post there, but as you can see it didn't turn out right.

Adjust cue fade time LIVE
@Jeroen wrote:
Hi again,
searched the help files but haven't found the answer yet. Is it possible to live override the fadetime of a cuelist? I now have a chase for example, which has 2 steps: step 1=all blue step 2=all red.
I like to save the cuelist as snap, so fadetime=0.
Can I live adjust this fadetime so the cuelist starts fading? It would be super to also assign this to an encoder or fader for live "smoothening" of the show.Thanks!

Simple Audio Playback / Link To Cue
@jlightguy wrote:
Scenario: A selected cue list will be triggered manually (not using SMPTE). Cue #1 (or whatever number) of this cuelist triggers an audio file along with the dmx lighting information - output to be linked to the dual XLR jacks on the back of the M6 or line out mini-jack on other consoles. Useful for quick lightshows w/track or even dance recitals, etc. when not using a media server or midi/smpte. Another way of accomplishing the same thing would allow a cuelist to be made from a media player playlist - thus only containing the audio trigger information in pre-arranged song file order. A separate cuelist would then be built for the lighting.

2D Plan not showing fixture values
@CLC wrote:
I'm working through the recent training webinar (thanks for providing that BTW). I've got a freshly installed version of M-PC running with the show file that was provided with the training. I see on the web video that running the cues and adjusting values gives visual feedback in the 2D plan. But on my computer, I see no feedback.
I saw a post from another person that seemed to indicate a Windows Update might fix this. I'm running Win7 Pro. However, I feel like I might be misunderstanding something, as the help file says there is no feedback unless in edit mode. However the video seems to be in Live mode...
Thoughts?

LTC / SMPTE In & Out - Time Code
@pushinair247 wrote:
I'm using an M6 that has SMPTE In and Out ports on the back of it. I have a drummer generating LTC time code from stage and I'm passing the timecode to a computer running Resolume Arena. Right now it bypasses my console and goes straight to the computer through an A/D converter.
What I'd love to do is take the analog LTC straight into my M6 and pass that through to the A/D converter, then on to the computer. That would let me see time code on screen rather than having to listen to the converter to hear if the time code is getting to me. I attempted this and the M6 saw the time code fine, but did not pass the time code on. Is this a possibility?

M-PC, USB duo, & Martin Uploader
@CkLite wrote:
Anyone have any advice on how to get M-PC and Martin uploader to play nice together on Windows10.
The issue I'm having is that My Martin USB-DMX interface will not show up when both programs are installed.
Device manager shows USB as good.
M-PC fails to see it as well as Martin uploader.
I'm using the newest version of M-pc and uploader.
Everything worked fine on windows 10 with the older version of M-PC 3.4 (?).
