Q-Blender Released by fading back to prior state

Question: When I Release Cuelist A it snaps back to its prior state. The speed of Cuelist B doesn't influence the speed of the Release.

Whereas if Cuelist A were a Cuelist instead of an Override, when Release is triggered it fades back to its prior state.

I want it to fade out smothely when I Release the Intensity FX Cuelist A. Is that possible with a Q-Blender? Or do they all snap out regardless?
