Let's say I have a Maxxyz Compact and a desktop Playback II module.
1) I would like to know if I can swap the Programmer panel from the Compact and the Playback II panel from the module : in other words, are the hardware interfaces the same (power and USB as far as I know) and will the Playback II panel be recognized by the Compact hardware, and the original Programmer panel from the Compact be recognized by the module hardware ?
2) The final project, considering the swap previously told, would be to drive the Compact hardware by an external PC via USB (I know it can be done). The system would be composed of : a PC running M-PC; The Playback II panel, the original playback modules and the original GM/FM module from the Compact in the Compact chassis, along with a touch monitor replacing the Compact's original one and serving as a second monitor for the PC; And the Programmer panel from the Compact mounted in the module chassis and a submaster module in a wing frame.
In this configuration I want to use the Playback II panel as my main panel and the Compact playback modules as a wing. So my question is : can I set an ID on the Compact playback modules just like I can do it on external playback modules ?Thanks
